The mission of the Indiana Governor's Council for People with Disabilities (GCPD) is to advance social and policy changes that lead to meaningful inclusion of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD) and their families in all aspects of life. Through key activities like outreach, training, barrier elimination, community education, and informing policymakers GCPD aspires to shape Indiana into strong, supportive communities where people with ID/DD can exercise self-determination and independence in their own lives.
