Overnight Lane Restriction on I-70
GREENFIELD, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will restrict the left lane of eastbound Interstate 70 in Hancock and Henry Counties early tomorrow morning.
INDOT maintenance crews will begin at midnight patching pavement at the 101 mile marker, just west of State Road 9 (exit 104 to Greenfield). The operation will move eastbound in the left lane to State Road 109 (exit 115 to Knightstown) and is expected to cease by 6 a.m. Friday, January 6.
Drivers will be given advanced notice of the restriction with work zone signs and electronic arrow boards. Drivers should merge to the right, travel at a safe speed and be alert as they pass the moving work zone.
Safe driving tips, information about work zone restrictions and roadway conditions, as well as the latest INDOT news can be found at www.indot.in.gov. |
