Entry Description
Gibson County – Wednesday night, January 18, at approximately 7:40 p.m., Trooper John Davis was patrolling SR 57 south of Oakland City when he stopped the driver of a 2012 Ford pickup truck for traveling 78 mph in a 55 mph zone. The driver was identified as Lister Harris, 61, of Evansville. While talking to Harris, Trooper Davis detected an odor of burnt marijuana. During a search of the vehicle a small bag containing cocaine was found under the driver’s seat. Harris was arrested and taken to the Gibson County Jail where he is currently being held on bond.

1. Possession of Cocaine, Class D Felony

Assisting Officer: Officer Mike Collins, Oakland City Police
