The Pendleton District held an Operating While Intoxicated Saturation Patrol that started around 9 p.m. on Friday the 24th and ran until 4 a.m. Saturday the 25th. They removed three suspended drivers from the roadways and investigated six crashes. Troopers wrote eighteen tickets and 37 warnings and had 11 assists of stranded motorists.
The Pendleton District covers the eight counties of Delaware, Madison, Randolph, Henry, Wayne and Union as well as Rush and Fayette counties. Motorists are encouraged to report suspected impaired drivers by calling your nearest State Police Post or 9-1-1. Give a vehicle description, location, and direction of travel. Never follow an impaired driver.
