Entry Description Bartholomew County: Thursday evening, February 23 at approximately 7:00 p.m. Trooper Matt Powell along with Bartholomew County Deputy Kinman went to 1350 South Jonesville Road to investigate a possible stolen motorcycle. When contact was made with the resident the officers were invited inside the house. During their conversation with the resident, 41-year-old Steven J. Huddleston, Tpr. Powell noticed a white powdery substance and drug paraphernalia on the kitchen table. Huddleston was placed under arrest and as a result a search warrant was obtained for the rest of the residence. A more thorough search of the property led to the discovery of non-active meth lab in the garage. Huddleston now stands charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of more than 10 grams of Pseudoephedrine, Possession of Precursors with Intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine, Possession of Anhydrous Ammonia, and Possession of Paraphernalia. Additional charges are pending.
Persons arrested are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. |
