Daytime Ramp Closure Friday
on Indianapolis’ East Side

 

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will close the entrance ramp from US 40 to southbound I-465 on the city’s east side between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Friday, March 9. 
INDOT maintenance crews will repair a damaged bridge joint during the short-term closure.  The ramp must be closed for the safety of workers and drivers because the location of the joint repair does not allow adequate space for both a safe work zone and for traffic to safely merge.
Drivers can learn the locations of work zones and highway restrictions before they depart by calling INDOT’s TrafficWise at 1-800-261-ROAD (7623) or view an online map at www.TrafficWise.IN.gov.
