Lake County-The Indiana State Police is looking for mixed martial arts fighter who is was suppose to make his “debut” fight tomorrow evening.

It was determine through a traffic investigation that Eric J. Oria, 24 of East Chicago is wanted on a warrant for failure to appear for judicial proceedings for Criminal Recklessness, Class D Felony issued by Lake County Court.

Oria was to make his professional debut tomorrow evening, Friday, March 9th, at a northwest Indiana casino fighting for a national based MMA promotion organization.  Oria was supposed to be fighting in the featherweight division.

Today, March 8th, was a scheduled media day and official weigh in for tomorrow’s fight at the casino.  Oria did not show; he withdrew from the fight for “medical reasons.”
