Entry Description
Kendallville, IN- A man and two women were arrested early this morning at a rural Kendallville residence after troopers, attempting to serve arrest warrants on the man, located a meth lab and other narcotics in the residence.
According to Trooper Brian Kreger, at approximately 1:30 am, he and Probationary Trooper Lesley Fox went to a residence in the 100 block of Miller Road after receiving information that Charles J. Wuest, 27 from Fort Wayne was located at that location. Wuest was wanted for multiple charges in Allen County which included possession of cocaine, battery, possession of paraphernalia and resisting law enforcement.
Upon their arrival, Kreger and Fox spoke with someone in the residence who confirmed that Wuest was in a bedroom in the rear of the residence. As they made their way to take Wuest into custody, they observed illegal narcotics in plain view. A search warrant was then applied for and served. As a result of the search, a one pot reaction vessel, meth, meth precursors and marijuana were found. The Indiana State Police Clandestine Laboratory Team was called to assist with the meth lab.
Two females at the residence were also arrested. Jilyan J. Snyder, 29 from Hudson was arrested on a warrant from the Department of Corrections and Kayla D. Wallace, 21 from LaGrange was arrested by the Kendallville Police Department for possession of marijuana. All three were taken to and incarcerated in the Noble County Jail.
