I-70 Lane Restriction Today

East Of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Department of Transportation will close the westbound Interstate 70 right lane today between Mount Comfort Road and Post Road.

Crews will work to make emergency repairs to nearby guard rail that was extensively damaged by a truck Wednesday afternoon. 

 

The restriction will begin by 1 p.m. and repairs are expected to take about three hours.  A single westbound lane will remain open to traffic.  Motorists are advised to drive with caution through the construction area.
