Entry Description
Muncie – Today around 1 p.m. a search warrant was served on the residence at 700 West Berkley Avenue in Muncie. The warrant was the result of a joint investigation between the Muncie Police Department Narcotics Division and the Indiana State Police Marijuana Eradication Section.
Pendleton Troopers helped in the search and discovered 31 large marijuana plants growing in the back yard of the residence, some as tall as eight feet, as well as a small amount of processed marijuana in the home. Arrested was Robert W. Spears, age 35, on charges of Cultivating Marijuana over 30 grams, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance, both Class “D” Felonies.
Robert Spears was lodged in the Delaware County Jail with a bond of $5,000. Anyone with information about illegal drug use may call the Pendleton Post at 1-800-527-4752, or the Indiana State Police Drug Tip Line at 1-800-453-4756. Tips can be made and kept anonymous.
