Entry Description
Overnight I-465 Restrictions
Tuesday & Wednesday
On Northeast Side
INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) contractors will restrict traffic lanes on I-465 on the city’s northeast side Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
Walsh Construction, the state’s contractor, will restrict the left lane of I-465 in both directions between I-69 and Allisonville Road beginning tonight at 9 p.m. The center lane of westbound I-465 will also be restricted beginning at 10 p.m. The lane restrictions are expected to be lifted before 6 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday.
Walsh and its subcontractors have removed uneven pavement and are reconstructing the left lane of westbound I-465. Three westbound lanes of I-465 are temporarily shifted to the right between I-69 and Allisonville Road. The ramp from southbound I-69 to westbound I-465 is temporarily reduced to a single lane that merges with the right lane of westbound I-465. Eastbound I-465 will be reduced to two lanes and westbound I-465 will be reduced to a single lane during Tuesday and Wednesday nights’ operations.
