Sullivan County----Indiana State Police detectives are now requesting assistance from the public in locating a television taken during the homicide of Sullivan County resident Lowell R. Badger.

Stolen was Badger’s black, Sony, Bravia, 46-inch, LCD television. An image of the television is attached to this press release. Anyone who has knowledge of a friend, relative, acquaintance, pawn shop, etc. who recently obtained this type of television in a suspicious or questionable manner is urged to contact ISP First Sergeant Jeff Hearon or Detective Tom Hanks at the Indiana State Police Putnamville Post 765-653-4114. Tips can remain anonymous.

The homicide is believed to have occurred sometime between Friday, December 7th 8:00 p.m. and 9:23 a.m. on Saturday, December 8th, 2012.

Also, the Sullivan County Credit Union in Sullivan, IN. is accepting monetary donations for the “Lowell Badger Reward Fund”. As of noon today, the combined effort of 1st Financial Bank and the Sullivan County Credit Union has raised their reward fund to $15,000. Wabash Valley Crime Stoppers and Indiana Farm Bureau are also offering cash rewards for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the perpetrator(s) responsible for the death of Lowell R. Badger.
