Entry Description

Vigo County—On Monday, May 20th at 3:00p.m., Vigo County Sheriff’s Deputies Bob Bartlett and Kevin Murphy were attempting to serve a Vigo County arrest warrant for Child Support on Bradley A. Lawson at 16151 South All Street. During the execution of the warrant, the deputies noticed items commonly associated with the production of methamphetamine on the property. As they noticed the items, Indiana State Police Trooper Brent Robinson, not knowing the deputies were there, arrived to further his investigation into tips and other investigative information provided to the ISP Putnamville District into possible meth production by Bradley A. Lawson.

Trooper Robinson and Deputies Bartlett and Murphy searched the premises and located two active meth labs, numerous illegal dumpsites, improper containers of Anhydrous Ammonia, and precursors. There were obvious signs that meth production had been ongoing for some time, but no finished product was found. Bradley A. Lawson, age 38, was incarcerated in the Vigo County Jail.

The labs were dismantled by the ISP Meth Lab Enforcement Team.
