Entry Description
State Sen. Ron Alting (R-Lafayette) made the following statement regarding Gov. Pence’s State of the State Address:
STATEHOUSE (Jan. 22, 2013) — “Tonight, Governor Pence noted that now is the time to make Indiana the best it can be. Thanks to strong leadership from the Daniels Administration, our state is in a healthy fiscal position to fund vital state services while holding the line on spending. We must promote fiscal responsibility like this to relieve burdens for Indiana taxpayers.
“In addition to the budget, I look forward to working with the Pence Administration to improve our state by protecting our vulnerable children and develop a strong workforce by increasing resources for both early education and state public universities.”
