[DNR] Spring Mill SP hosts gardeners workshop, March 2

Entry Description
Come to Spring Mill State Park on March 2 for its Winter Workshop.

This program runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Spring Mill Inn in the Elm room.

Participants will create four garden projects to get ready for spring. The projects are building a bird feeder, making a plant press, making a hypertufa pot, and planting a bonsai tree. The workshop also will include general care and maintenance basics of bonsai.

Cost is $120 and includes all materials and tools as well as a buffet lunch in the Millstone dining room. All items made during this workshop are for participants to keep.

Space is limited, and advance registration is required by Feb. 15 by calling (812) 849-4081.
