Entry Description
Sellersburg-Detective David Makowsky of the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg has completed twenty-five years of service with the Indiana State Police. He was appointed as a trooper on December 19th of 1987 and has been assigned to the Sellersburg Post his entire career. David has served in several different jobs during his career from road trooper to K-9 handler. He has held his current position as detective since June 28th, 1998.
David lives in Clarksville with his wife Shirley. They have four children and five grand children.
