STATEHOUSE— State Representative Kathy Heuer (R- Columbia City) commended Yum Yums Yogurt-U-Make for receiving a 2013 Economic Development and Growth through Entrepreneurship (EDGE) award.
The EDGE awards are hosted by the Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC) and were presented Wednesday, February 6 by Lt. Governor Ellspermann at the Indiana Statehouse. These awards recognized 10 emerging and 10 established ISBDC client small businesses from across the state.
Yum Yums Yogurt-U-Make LLC, located in Fort Wayne, was among the select group of small businesses throughout the state honored with the distinct award.
“I am pleased to see Yum Yums Yogurt-U-Make honored with an EDGE award,” said Rep. Heuer. “Their dedication to providing a great product and service and being a valued employer in our area serves our community well.”
Yum Yums Yogurt-U-Make is striving to set a new standard for self-serve yogurt in Fort Wayne. With an array of flavors and toppings, the small business aims to indulge.
The EDGE awards are presented to emerging or established businesses that have a positive and measurable impact on the formation, growth, and sustainability of small businesses in Indiana.
“Since its founding, Yum Yums Yogurt-U-Make has seen an outpouring of support in the community,” said Rep. Heuer. “As they continue to grow and expand, I have no doubt they will continue to set the bar high in providing outstanding customer service and quality products in the Fort Wayne community.” |
