Entry Description
Jennings County: Yesterday afternoon at approximately 5:40 Trooper Randel Miller responded to a single vehicle crash at Country Squire Lakes in Jennings County. According to Tpr. Miller, a 2007 Hyundai was westbound on Country Manner Drive when it attempted to pass another vehicle. The Hyundai ran off the left side of the roadway, traveled through some grass then struck some large rocks causing the vehicle to flip several times.
Tpr. Miller reported there is some question as to who was driving the vehicle. The two front seat occupants were 30 year old Jeremiah Anderson and 46 year old Michael Peak who were both wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. The back seat occupant was 26 year old Robert Anderson, the brother of Jeremiah Anderson. All three men are from North Vernon and were transported to the hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries. According to Tpr. Miller, alcohol could have been a factor in the crash. The investigation is continuing to determine who was driving the vehicle. Tpr. Miller was assisted at the scene by Tpr. David Owsley, Geneva/Scipio Fire Department, and Rescue 20. |
