Vanderburgh – Monday night, March 4, at approximately 7:38 p.m., Indiana State Police received information regarding a theft that occurred in Fairfield, IL. The suspects were last seen driving a white Chevrolet pickup with Pennsylvania plates and pulling a U-Haul trailer. The suspects allegedly took 15 used radiator units from an individual in Fairfield and failed to pay for them. Several minutes later, Trooper Lucas Zeien stopped the vehicle eastbound I-64 at the 20 mile-marker. Troopers found all the radiators inside the U-Haul trailer. After obtaining further information from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department, all four suspects were arrested for Possession of Stolen Property, a Class D Felony. They were all taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail where they are currently being held without bond.
