STATEHOUSE (March 5, 2013) – State Sen. Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) recently welcomed the following local students to the Statehouse, where they served as Senate pages:

• Justine Jennings, from Moorseville, attends Moorseville High School.
• Olivia Ferrill, from Moorseville, attends Moorseville High School.
• Taylor Burnside, from Moorseville, attends Moorseville High School
• Chase Miller, from Greenwood, attends Center Grove High School.
• Bailey Bowles, from Martinsville, attends Martinsville High School.
• Kaitlyn Bowles, from Martinsville, attends Bell-East Middle School.
• Beth Cragun, from Paragon, home school student.
• Nathan Cragun, from Paragon, home school student.
• Annalese Bough, from Martinsville, attends West Middle School.
• Katherine Spencer, from Trafalgar, attends University of Indianapolis.
• Ambisha Williams, from Paragon, attends West Middle School.
• Jacob Maurizio, from Bargersville, attends Center Grove High School.

Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the chamber floor and interacting with their state senators.

“As a new senator, it’s been an honor to have students from District 37 come visit the Statehouse and learn about the legislative process,” Bray said. “Paging is a great way for students to see laws enacted and experience a day in the Indiana General Assembly.”

Students in grades six through 12 can participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays through April 4.
