Parke County---This afternoon at 4:30, Indiana State Police detectives from the Putnamville Post were conducting sex offender registry checks in Rockville. During the check of Bradley M. Vandivier at his residence at 508 North Erie Street in Rockville, detectives found numerous child pornography images and videos on a laptop computer owned by Vandivier. The total number of images are believed to be more than 100 and could be as many as 1,000. The number of videos is believed to be around 50. A more extensive forensic preview of the laptop in coming days will determine the exact number of images and videos.

Arrested: Bradley M. Vandivier, age 27, Rockville, IN.
Charge: Possession of Child Pornography, Class C felony
Bond: No bond and held in the Parke County Jail

Investigating Officers were ISP Detectives First Sergeant Jeff Hearon and Sam Stearley. Assisting was the Parke County Prosecutor’s Office.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
