Indianapolis, IN - In a meeting this morning with Speaker Brian Bosma and Senate President Pro-Tempore David Long, Governor Mike Pence shared a letter from prominent economist Larry Lindsey supporting the proposed 10 percent cut in the personal income tax.

Larry Lindsey served as President George W. Bush's chief economic advisor from 2001 to 2002 during the development of the Bush tax cuts. He also served in the White House under both Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush. He holds his Ph.D. from Harvard University, where he taught in the 1980s, and he has served as a Governor of the Federal Reserve System. He is President and CEO of the Lindsey Group.
