[ISP] Kokomo Woman Arrested on Child Molestation Charges
Start Date: 2/19/2014Start Time: 12:00 AM
End Date: 2/19/2014
Entry Description

Tipton – This afternoon, a month long criminal investigation by Indiana State Police Detective Tony Frawley resulted in the arrest of Jacqueline A. Day, 27, of 800 South Street, Kokomo, IN. Day was arrested at her home when Detective Frawley served her with a Tipton Circuit Court arrest warrant. The warrant alleged a class A felony charge of child molestation and a class C felony charge for child molestation. Day is incarcerated in the Tipton County Jail with a bond of $50,000.

Detective Frawley started an investigation after the Howard County Division of the Indiana Department of Child Services notified him that a Howard County boy had possibly been molested. The subsequent investigation revealed that, in 2011, Day allegedly performed sex acts with a 13-year-old boy. The purported crime occurred at a Tipton County residence.

All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
