Help Indiana's Wildlife
Bald eagles, river otters, osprey, and peregrine falcons are four species who have benefited from the Indiana Nongame Fund. Restoration projects, paid for by this fund, have seccessfully increased the numbers of these species in Indiana. But, the work is far from over.
Over 750 endangered and nongame species -- from frogs to barn owls and freshwater mollusks -- reside in Indiana. The Wildlife Diversity Section (WDS) manages these species to stop and prevent the decline of Indiana wildlife. WDS receives no tax money for the work that it does. All projects are funded entirely from donations to the Indiana Nongame Fund - donations made by Hoosiers that care about Indiana wildlife.
