Credit Guidelines

Individual Artist Program Grantees

The Grantee agrees to include in all promotion, publicity, and printed materials, prepared in connection with the funded project, the IAC logo or the following credit line: "This activity is made possible, in part, by the Indiana Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency."
This shall be prominently positioned. When written materials are not used, a public, verbal statement of credit to the IAC shall be given. The Grantee must submit to the State, upon request, copies of all publicity, photographs, and printed materials for the arts activity(ies) involved.

All Other Grantees

All publicity or programs must contain the prominently positioned IAC logo and the following credit line: "This activity is made possible, in part, by the Indiana Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency."
Grantees must credit the IAC and the NEA in printed materials, films and videotapes, electronic transmissions, and non-written announcements regarding all activities for which Commission funds are used. Grantees receiving organizational support must credit the IAC and NEA in all promotional materials.

The Grantee must credit the IAC and the NEA on the title page of printed programs, listed in the donor category appropriate to the level of financial support. Performing arts organizations that receive over $50,000 in operating support provide 1/2 page advertising space in season programs. To request these ads call 317-232-1273 or e-mail rvanzant@iac.in.gov.

The Grantee must credit the IAC and the NEA in all educational materials distributed in association with any IAC-funded program.

The Grantee must use the IAC credit logo on their web sites along with a hyperlink to www.in.gov/arts. It should be listed in a place appropriate to the website's mapping (i.e. IAC logo on a sponsorship page with a hyperlink and/or IAC and NEA listed as additional resources with a hyperlink to both). The IAC logo must appear on the web page that corresponds to the funded project.
On television and radio appearances by the Grantee's representative, verbally acknowledge, at least once during a broadcast, the support your organization received from the IAC and the NEA. Grantee should acknowledge the IAC and NEA in any newspaper, magazine, or online interviews about your program(s).

NEA Logo

Effective immediately, please use the updated NEA logo located at http://www.nea.gov/manageaward/logos/index.html. As you will note, the logo no longer uses the catchphrase “A Great Nation Deserves Great Art.”

Grantees that already have or have used the old logo in printed materials will not need to change it, but going forward, any new acknowledgments should use the new logo. Please update Web sites and other electronic materials as soon as practicable.
