Eighteen high school students from across Indiana competed in the 2014 Indiana Poetry Out Loud competition on Saturday, February 22 at the Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library Central Branch. Emma Libersky of Plymouth High School took top honors, becoming the first repeat State Champion in the eight year history of the event. Emma represented Indiana at the National  Finals in Washington, D.C. April 29-30, 2014.

  • State Champion: Emma Libersky, Plymouth High School, Plymouth (2013 state champion)
  • 1st Runner-Up: Daniel Robinson, Pike High School, Indianapolis (2013 2nd Runner-Up)
  • 2nd Runner-Up: Ming Washington, La Lumiere School, La Porte
