This high-energy day and a half-long workshop will introduce the practice of creative placemaking as a viable strategy for small and/or rural Indiana communities and neighborhoods. Sessions focus on practical ways to get started and how to make a meaningful impact and are led by artists and creative placemaking professionals from throughout Indiana and the Midwest.
$50 per person, or $45 per person for teams of two or more. Plan for lodging costs (see recommendations below) and food costs. Parking and lunch on June 9 is included.

What’s the point?
Creative placemaking can be a tool for any community to integrate arts and culture into the planning process. Bring your community’s ideas, characteristics, and challenges. This will be a true workshop and chance to learn with and from your Hoosier peers.
