The Indiana State Excise Police are the law enforcement division of the Indiana Alcohol & Tobacco Commission and are fully certified police officers with powers across the state of Indiana. The primary mission of the agency is to provide professional and efficient law enforcement service with an emphasis on Indiana's alcohol & tobacco laws.

The Indiana State Excise Police have announced plans to start a hiring process in August of 2015. If you are interested in testing for a position as an Officer, please complete the Employment Notification form by the July 1, 2015 deadline. Any information submitted after this date will not be considered for this process, but will be retained for future hiring processes.
