Find An Auto Dealer Partner
The Indiana BMV is partnering with auto dealerships across the state to offer title and registration services to customers. The partnership is part of the BMV Customer Choices initiative to offer BMV services at non-branch locations. Currently, over a third of Indiana’s 92 counties have a participating dealership, and a number of dealership partners are located in communities that do not currently have license branch services.
The BMV's auto dealer partners conduct title and registration services for new and used passenger cars, trucks from 7,000 to 11,000 pounds, trailers, motorcycles, watercraft, and recreational vehicles.
Available title transactions include: Manufacturer's Statement of Origin; Certificate of Ownership; duplicate titles; used in-state and out-of-state titles; leased vehicles; transfers of ownership; adding or releasing of liens; title searches; and speed titles (except for salvage, rebuilt, and junk vehicles).
Available registration transactions include: new registration; renewal and replacement of registration; transfer of registration; duplicate registration; and registration searches.
