LICENSE BRANCHES CLOSED JULY 4

All BMV license branches and reinstatement centers will be closed on Saturday, July 4, for the Independence Day holiday.

Customer service locations that are normally open on Mondays will resume regular hours of operation on Monday, July 6. Full-service license branches will open at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7.

MyBMV online services and self-service terminals will continue to be available during the holiday.

Skip your next license branch visit and create an online myBMV account. Your personal myBMV account is a virtual license branch that gives you the ability to securely access many services online. The following online services are just some of the many features that you can access through your myBMV account:

  • Renew vehicle registrations online and receive a $5 discount for each vehicle.
  • Order your plates with express delivery and guarantee that you will receive them in three business days.
  • Register new vehicles online.
  • Order a driver record.
  • Reserve or re-reserve a personalized license plate.
  • Order duplicate titles.
  • Update your insurance information or mailing address.
  • View reinstatement requirements and pay reinstatement fees.
  • Sign up for email reminders for your driver license or registration expiration dates.
  • View all online services available through myBMV

Accessing the services provided through your myBMV account is fast, secure and easy to use.

The myBMV online service is unavailable on Sundays from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. for scheduled maintenance. Please note that rental companies which use a Rental Excise Tax Credit can only renew registrations at a license branch.
