Disabled American Veteran license plate (option 1)

The cost of the Disabled American Veteran license plates includes only vehicle registration fees and taxes.

A disability license plate or disability parking placard allows the holder to park in areas designated for disabled drivers.

Eligibility

You must be certified as eligible by the Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs to obtain this plate.

Availability

This plate is available online through myBMV, at license branches, and at other customer service locations.  Disabled American Veteran license plate (option 2)

Vehicle Types

You may display this plate on passenger cars, trucks up to 11,000 pounds, motorcycles, and recreational vehicles.

License Plate Stickers And Frames

Your plate should have stickers showing the day, month, and year of your next registration renewal, and the county in which your vehicle is registered. Indiana law prohibits license plate frames or covers that obscure stickers, text, or numbers on your plate
