BMV > Driving Records Get Your Driving Record

The quickest way to get your driving record is to establish an online myBMV account. A personal myBMV account is a virtual license branch that gives you more information about your records as well as the ability to securely access many services online.

Through myBMV you may purchase, view, and print your Official Driver Record and your Certified Official Driver Record.

  • An Official Driver Record reflects the last 10 years of your driving record and costs $4.
  • A Certified Official Driver Record reflects the last 10 years of your driving record and is accompanied by a letter of certification from the Commissioner of the BMV to validate its authenticity. A Certified Official Driver Record costs $8.

You must have an Indiana driver's license in order to establish an online myBMV account. If you do not have an Indiana driver's license, you may apply for your Official Driver Record or your Certified Official Driver Record by completing and mailing Request For Driving Records And/Or Motor Vehicle Or Watercraft Records - State Form 53789.
