The Bureau of Motor Vehicles offers identification cards for Indiana residents of any age who do not have a driver's license. You cannot hold both an identification card and a driver's license. To get an identification card you must visit a license branch and present the required documents of identification. To get a free identification card for voting purposes you should state that you need a free identification card for voting purposes when you visit the license branch.
