To get an Indiana learner's permit or driver's license you must pass a vision screening test. You must also pass a vision screening test to renew your license. If your visual ability does not meet state standards you will be referred to an eye doctor for an eye examination.

To get a first-time driver's license you must also pass a driving skills test. You need to provide your own, legally-equipped vehicle.

Getting A Disability Parking Placard Or License Plate

A disability parking placard or disability license plate allows the holder to park in areas designated for disabled drivers.
