Beginning January 1, 2010, owners of recreational vehicles and campers will pay excise tax when a vehicle is registered or its registration is renewed.

If you own a recreational vehicle or truck camper, please click on the link below to provide information about your vehicle. With accurate information, the BMV will be able to send you a correct renewal notice in 2010. In the future, you will also be able to renew your registration online, by mail, at a self-service terminal, or at any other BMV Customer Choices partner location.

In addition, remember to provide your mailing address, your driver’s license number, and the last four digits of your Social Security number, as well as your vehicle’s year, make, model, and vehicle identification number. Although, by law, you are not required to furnish your Social Security number, this information will aid the BMV in maintaining accurate information for your customer record. Please provide this information by October 31, 2009. Thank you.
