School Safety Specialist Advanced Academy
April 22-23, 2014
This training is only available to certified school safety specialists, law enforcement, and their guests. Topics and agenda TBA. Lodging will be provided for non-commuters traveling 75 miles each direction. Registration and additional information will be made available in January 2014.

The Indiana School Safety Specialist Academy provides ongoing, certified training and information on national and state best practices, as well as exemplary resources for school safety, security, intervention/prevention, and emergency preparedness planning. School safety specialists aretrained to lead the development and implementation of school safety practices which will provide safe educational environments for all students in Indiana. The Indiana Department of Education's website contains a list of upcoming programs.
