FY2011 Fatality Report Press Release Conference,  April 22, 2013

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. On April 16, 2013 at 7:00 pm local time, each local office in all 92 Indiana counties held a special candlelight event to raise awareness for this month. This was a unifying event throughout the state that featured local speakers and testimonials from child welfare advocates.  The Candlelight Ceremony locations.

Listen to a Department of Child Services family case manager and an Indiana University social work professor discuss this ‘profession of hope.’ Hear real world examples of how those that do social work help others move their lives forward, why social work is a top growth profession and what it takes to work in the social work field.
