Auditor's Certificate

The Auditor’s Certificate shall be prepared and sent to the fiscal officer of each political subdivision and the Department of Local Government Finance, as prescribed under IC 6-1.1-17-1. The Auditor’s Certificate shall be sent to each political subdivision on or before August 1 of each year. County auditors will not have the distribution and population information to calculate the Cigarette Tax, ABC Tax, MVH Distribution, LRS Distribution, MVH#1 Distribution and MVH#2 Distribution; therefore, Dan Bastin is recommending that a copy of the Auditor of State 2012 Budget Revenue Estimates be forwarded to the unit with the Auditor’s Certificate.
