Tim Wood lives in Springfield, Mo., and grew up in Clarksville. He took this shot of the George Rogers Clark cabin at Falls of the Ohio State Park last summer with a Nikon D3000 with a standard 18-55 mm lens. On this postcard day he was inspired by the evening sunlight playing off the split rail fence. Then he noticed how the relic on one side of the river contrasted with the modern skyline across the Ohio River. The brand new subscriber calls the shot “Facing Future.” We call it a great way to lead off Reader Photos.
Melissa Zuber, a florist from Cicero in Hamilton County, was sitting on her front porch waiting for her kids to get on the bus during late spring. The new subscriber noticed “perfect” dewdrops on the day lilies, grabbed her Kodak EasyShare C1550 16MP and decided to share the moment. Welcome to OI, Melissa.
