Despite the early date, it was warm enough for hundreds of chorus frogs and probably other frog species to congregate. Brent, an Indianapolis Metropolitan police officer, said they were “deafeningly loud.”

Brad says the valley has the greatest variety of wildflowers in the region he roams, southeastern Indiana. A fan of Outdoor Indiana for many years, he re-subscribed in 2014.
