JAMES WERNER
West Lafayette

While deer hunting and carrying his Nikon Cool Pix pocket camera, James walked through a ravine and saw what he calls “life on a log” at eye level. The mushroom is a species of puffball. The green plant with a rosette of leaves is a species of rockcress.
