Need a reason to get outside and move? Consider volunteering with the Division of Fish & Wildlife. Across the state, we have opportunities to volunteer alone or in small groups. Some activities include trash pick-up, basic gardening, painting, and more. Scheduling is flexible, and you can arrange your position directly with a property. Find a property near you.
Volunteer opportunities
Whether you are a new or existing volunteer, check out our list of current volunteer opportunities in CERVIS.
Existing volunteers can use their Volunteer Profiles to sign up for volunteer opportunities. New volunteers should follow the steps listed below. Please contact us if you have an idea for volunteering that isn’t listed. We will work with you to match your skills and interests with opportunities across the state.
Learn more about volunteering at the State Fair Fishin' Pond.
You can also participate in conservation by sharing your observations of Indiana's fish, wildlife, and their habitats with the Division of Fish & Wildlife. See how you can help on our fish & wildlife monitoring page.
