NATURE PRESERVES EVENTS
- Urban Nature at Our Doorstep, Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 6:30 pm. Location: Oliver Woods Nature Preserve, Tom Swinford, Central Regional Ecologist for IDNR-Nature Preserves, will present on the natural history of Marion County, hosted by Central Indiana Land Trust. Highlighted will be the eight state nature preserves of Marion County - the highest quality natural areas remaining within Indianapolis city limits. This includes the sizable preserves of Ft. Harrison and Eagle Creek that form the core of two of Indiana’s designated Important Bird Areas. For more info, please visit the Central Indiana Land Trust’s events page.
