Hach Water Quality Monitoring Kits

The Hoosier Riverwatch Training Manual and volunteer water monitoring program was revised in April 2004. The primary change at this time was the implementation of new chemical testing kits (CHEMetrics and Water Works test strips). Although we are no longer offering training in use of the Hach testing kits, we believe trained and experienced users of this method can obtain very good results. We welcome submission of data collected with the Hach Stream Survey kit to the Riverwatch online volunteer monitoring database at http://www.hoosierriverwatch.com/

GREEN Water Quality Monitoring Kits

Hoosier Riverwatch is no longer accepting data collected with the GREEN Standard Water Monitoring kits. You can download data collected by Indiana volunteers using this method from 1999-2004. You may also download the instructions on the use of this method and the datasheet, which will help in interpreting the results presented in the Excel file.
