The world is changing quickly. In order for students to succeed in school, at work, and in the community, they will need more skills and knowledge than ever before. To meet these challenges, Indiana established world-class academic standards in English/language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. These standards outline what students should know and be able to do at each grade level.
(Information provided by the Indiana Department of Education.)
In order to assist educators utilizing the Hoosier Riverwatch program in meeting state academic standards, we have correlated the Hoosier Riverwatch Training Manual and monitoring program to the State Science Standards for grades K-12. We hope to correlate our program to math and social studies in the future.
