Operation Stay Afloat

Operation Stay Afloat 2016 – Comprehend, Protect and Mitigate More. This was the seventh such biennial conference jointly presented by the Department of Natural Resources, Division of Water and the Indiana Department of Homeland Security. The primary focus of past conferences was on post-flood activities and responsibilities, but it has since evolved nicely to include other related topics. The conference is an opportunity for Federal, State, and local official to meet each other along with others interested in a variety of floodplain topics. This year was no exception. Some of the valuable presentations are available for viewing below. For additional information about this or upcoming training opportunities, contact the Floodplain Management Section of the Division of Water. We hope to see you at Operation Stay Afloat 2018!
