Once you complete your transaction, you may get a 45 Day Temporary permit without payment when you add vehicles and order replacement plates only. All other transactions must be paid before you may obtain the 45 Day Temporary permit.
Go to credentials, then select your account information. You may then select transaction, unit, or plate number. You may sort by unit number, VIN number, plate number, or owner name. Click the “pay later/print” button to print your cab card.
The name you enter in the search feature must match your IRP cab card registration. If you are a sole proprietor, the account should reflect your SSN and not you’re FEIN. The system is case sensitive.
No, as a permit service you must send a valid Indiana Department of Revenue power of attorney form (POA-1) to the IRP Unit. Once the POA-1 is received and approved, the IRP Unit will send your username and password to the address on file. If the permitting service represents additional accounts, you must send a power of attorney form for each account and receive approval once the department has granted access.
If you processed a transaction within the last 21days, and you did not submit the required documents to the IRP Unit, your account suspends. Any outstanding liabilities past 30 days will also cause your account to suspend.
For immediate service, please fax your documents to (317) 615-7310 or contact our office at (317) 615-7340 to find out what documents are required to remove the suspense status.
If you select all “Reported” mileage during the renewal process, only the states in which you reported mileage will appear. You must select “Actual” or “Estimated” mileage for states in which you plan to travel. If you have already completed this transaction, please call the IRP Unit for assistance at (317) 615-7340.
You must select “Estimated” mileage to continue processing the renewal.
