Mentors as Partners (MAP)
Mentors as Partners (MAP) is a project of the Indiana Association for Child Care Resource and Referral and provides funding for each child care resource and referral agency in Indiana to implement a mentoring project with the goal of increasing the quality of child care in Indiana. In addition to the MAP mentor, the agency Infant Toddler Specialist and Inclusion Specialist may also provide mentoring. On-site mentoring is provided to licensed family child care homes, licensed child care centers, and unlicensed registered child care ministries. The program includes incentives for provider participation and a pre- and post-environmental rating assessment.
