Evansville Psychiatric Children’s Center (EPCC) has served children with serious emotional disturbances since 1966. Today, EPCC serves children ages five through thirteen and has current capacity of 28 beds. The Center strives to help children and their families to resolve needs and build strengths that help them to function in their home communities.

The hospital continues to maintain Joint Commission accreditation as a Behavioral Health Care Organization. The Center is also certified as a Medicaid treatment facility. Maintaining this accreditation and certification improves the quality of care at the facility and ensures continued Medicaid reimbursement status.
