Indiana’s Civil War Sesquicentennial Celebration
The Indiana Civil War Sesquicentennial Committee was appointed by the Indiana History Collaborative. The mission of the Indiana Civil War Sesquicentennial Committee is to encourage appropriate commemoration of the sesquicentennial of the Civil War (1861-1865) and to help Hoosiers recognize the effect the most devastating conflict in the nation’s history had on our state. The committee will accomplish this mission by encouraging communication between interested entities, both private and governmental.
